![]() Once paired, you can disconnect the cable, and it works pretty well, but the LEDs continuously blink (and therefore do not show battery status), and there is no "off" button until you restart the Shield. ![]() Problem with that is: to pair it, you actually need to connect it with a cable, and it's the USB Mini-B type, not the USB Micro that's common on most other controllers. I also got a new Nyko Mini Wireless, and that reconnects flawlessly.įinally, I got a PS3 controller as well. ![]() I have an old Moga Hero Power, and it's very temperamental, often requiring going into settings and completely re-pairing. Some work better than others in this regard. With other Bluetooth controllers (once they are initially paired), you still need to turn them on and wait a few secs for them to connect). Also, when it's low on battery, Shield will show you. ![]() You pick it up, press a button, and it executes that press. It features six-axis motion control, which will directly affect the gameplay of compatible games for a more immersive gaming experience. The great benefit of the Shield controller is that it connects instantly. ![]()
